ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH

We are driven by the future

We are a third-generation family business and combine tradition with innovation. That's why we are working towards a future worth living. For our company, there is only one way to get there:
Europe is to achieve complete climate neutrality by 2050 - and we support this goal.
Our contribution is to make our own operations climate-neutral and thus set new standards in plant maintenance.

Sounds like a big challenge? It is. But tasks make us inventive. That's why we have several answers to the question of ‘How?’. After more than 50 years of ISEKI Maschinen GmbH, we can confidently say: We know the industry and, more importantly, we know where to tweak.

Our Sustainability Report 2023

At ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH (IMG), responsible decisions are at the centre of our corporate strategy. Our ambition goes beyond economic success - we want to make a positive contribution to society and the environment. As a family business with decades of tradition, we see it as our duty to create a future-proof and sustainable perspective for future generations. This responsibility determines our strategy and our actions, from the use of resource-saving technologies to the promotion of trusting partnerships with our suppliers and customers.

Our road to sustainability

Our sustainability goals are firmly anchored in our strategic orientation. Among other things, this means that we closely monitor the success of our measures. For 2023, we are therefore voluntarily preparing a sustainability report including a carbon footprint for the first time, thereby anticipating the legal obligation.

In 2024, we also became an official member of the German Sustainable Economy Association. We look forward to exchanging ideas with other forward-looking companies and the opportunity to help shape the sustainable transformation of the economy.

Emission-free portfolio

Every path consists of many steps. Our path to climate neutrality is centred on the gradual transformation and expansion of our product range. Our declared goal is to exclusively offer electric machines and vehicles in the future - our benchmarks here are the requirements of our customers and our high quality standards.
In recent years, we have already included several completely emission-free products from European brands in our sales programme. These include the Goupil brand of electric transporters and the all-electric Barbieri hand mulchers. The RAYMO Torpedo, which is now part of our range, also has great potential as a fully electric zero-turn mower and tool carrier: the basic Torpedo machine with attachment options for various mowers and other attachments will enrich emission-free grounds maintenance.

We also recently welcomed another new addition to the range: the AllTrec brand from Dutch company FPS-Electric B. V. will be the first fully electric large-area mower to be included in the range.

Working more sustainably

In parallel with the transformation of our product portfolio, we are working on making our operations more sustainable. We are currently investing in expanding the charging infrastructure at our locations in order to create the conditions for an electric vehicle fleet. We are also planning energy-efficient refurbishments for our operating facilities and are using reusable equipment for our trade fair appearances.

Technology

Future-ready machines

We believe in an electric future for our portfolio and the entire machine sector. Until then, we are investing in the longevity of our products and in the circular economy.
For us, this means on the one hand producing high-quality machines and protecting them from damage, for example through good underbody preservation. On the other hand, we increase the service life through professional maintenance. Our in-house Field Service offers repair work for our entire product range throughout Germany.

Nature

Preserving biodiversity

Insects, especially bees, provide indispensable services for our ecosystem. As a manufacturer of mowing machines, we see it as our responsibility to minimise insect mortality in green space maintenance and actively promote the preservation of biodiversity. That is why we are integrating more and more products into our range that protect insects and other animals in the best possible way. These include, for example, the Raymo cutter bar and the Müthing mulcher with built-in insect saviour. We are happy to offer our customers expert advice on this topic and provide tips on how to take biodiversity conservation into account in their day-to-day work.

FAQ

Why does ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH rely on electric drives?

In the field of mowing products, it is clear that cleverly designed machines can be emission-free and powerful at the same time. We are convinced that the electric drive will bring great advantages in the future, especially for small tractors: Emissions will be avoided, noise pollution, greenhouse gases and operating costs reduced.
The technologies are constantly being developed at a rapid pace, meaning that problems such as short operating times, long charging times and insufficient power will soon be a thing of the past. In the meantime, it is all the more important for us to make our other product ranges emission-free.
Of course, we are aware that the purchase of electric machines is associated with increased costs. However, the investment pays for itself quickly - thanks to the low operating and maintenance costs, electric drives are more economical: they convert around 80 per cent of the energy into movement, while petrol drives only manage around 20 per cent. This figure alone makes it seem advisable to switch to electric drives. And if the electricity is generated from renewable energies, we are a big step closer to climate neutrality.

How can ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH help with the switch to electromobility?

We are supporting dealers and customers in the switch to electromobility through several measures:

  • Expanded product range: We are increasingly expanding our product range to include various electrically powered vehicles.
  • Extensive dealer network: Our broad network of dealers supports our customers in the selection and purchase of electric vehicles. Our customers can use the dealer search function on our website to find a dealer near them.
  • Personal advice: We attach great importance to personal advice. Our customers can get advice from local dealers to find the best electric device for them.
  • Customer service: We offer customer service for product enquiries and general questions about the company. This enables our customers to find out about electric options and receive support when switching to electric mobility. This also includes information on subsidisation issues.

Through these measures, we make the transition to electric mobility easier for both dealers and customers by offering a wide range of products, expert advice and technical support.
