X-Serie

Remote-controlled slope mulcher with hybrid technology

The flail and sickle mowers in the Barbieri X series show what they can do on slopes. Thanks to the remote control, you always have control of the machine and an overview of the surroundings. Even autonomous operations are possible with the machines' GPS technology. The mowers have an environmentally friendly hybrid drive, which ensures reduced fuel consumption.

Functions and equipment

Environmentally friendly hybrid drive

With their powerful hybrid drive, the slope mulchers from Barbieri are reliable and environmentally friendly.

Soil-friendly machines

As the caterpillar mowers themselves have a low dead weight and there is no driver on the machine, less pressure is exerted on the ground, which protects the soil.

Slope capacity

The slope mulchers from Barbieri master slopes of up to 45 degrees - this is made possible by the low weight and low centre of gravity of the machine. The electric motor brake and automatic track tensioning provide additional safety.

Area performance

With Barbieri track mowers, you are opting for significantly increased efficiency. As the machines can be operated forwards and backwards, turning manoeuvres are no longer necessary. Thanks to the enormous cutting width of up to 950 millimetres, the slope mulcher can cover large areas in a short time. As it works without an operator, who would otherwise be exposed to shocks and vibrations in rough terrain, the machine can be used for longer. The hybrid technology used also reduces fuel consumption and maintenance requirements.

Remote control

The Barbieri slope mulchers fight their way through undergrowth, over hills and slopes - but you stand at a safe distance of up to 300 metres. The remote control allows you to control the machine precisely, keep a full view of the surroundings and at the same time not be exposed to shocks and vibrations.

GPS

Barbieri's tracked mowers are equipped with the latest GPS technology. This allows terrain profiles and mowing areas to be saved and recalled for new mowing jobs, so that virtually autonomous operation is possible.

Barbieri X-Series - Frequently asked questions about the remote-controlled slope mowers

What is the difference between the X-CUT and X-ROT series models?

The X-CUT series includes flail mowers that cut grass and undergrowth vertically. They are therefore particularly suitable for steep slopes with scrub and undergrowth. The sickle mulchers in the X-ROT series, on the other hand, cut in a rotating pattern and are ideal for clean mulching on slopes.

How safe is it to use the Barbieri slope mulcher?

The Barbieri mowers are equipped with various functions that ensure safe operation on steep and rough terrain. All slope mowers have an electric engine brake, which enables safe parking on slopes. The automatic track tensioning system provides additional stability and prevents the track from jumping off. The machine also has a low dead weight and a low centre of gravity.
The X-ROT 95EVO is also equipped with an integrated tilt sensor and a speed control unit. If a limit is exceeded, the user receives direct feedback via the remote control.
