AllTrec - Increasing demand in Europe

Fully electric tool carriers with 16 h Akku-Power

More and more local authorities and landscaping companies have decided to switch to all-electric equipment carriers for grounds maintenance in order to achieve climate targets and greater sustainability in this sector too. Since machines have been on the market that can be operated for an entire working day without interruption, interest in emission-free solutions has increased noticeably. This is confirmed by ISEKI-Maschinen GmbH, which has been the general importer for Germany and Austria of the Dutch manufacturer and market leader in this segment, FPS-Electric B.V., since last year.

“The 100th AllTrec 8015F equipment carrier has just been delivered in the Netherlands,” explains Iseki Marketing Manager Oliver Sticht, “and at the last GaLaBau trade fair in Nuremberg, we advised many interested parties from Germany and Austria about these sustainable and reliable solutions at our stand.” After all, the compact AllTrec tool carriers are the very first machines on the market to deliver full power for up to 16 hours without recharging, even in difficult weather and working conditions. This is confirmed, for example, by René Lohaus from the construction depot of the city of Bremen: “When I return to the depot after a normal working day, the batteries are still half full.” These experiences with AllTrec have also been made in Hamburg and Leipzig as well as at other locations in Germany, completely eliminating the concerns of many decision-makers about work interruptions due to recharging with all-electric tool carriers and making them a future-proof choice for local authorities and professional service providers.

According to FPS Electric Sales Manager Harm Franssen, 200 AllTrec machines are already in daily use in Europe. “With a comprehensive range of machines and attachments, we are working together with Iseki to create a sustainable, clean and quieter working environment,” emphasizes Franssen, referring to the versatile, reliable and year-round usability of the implement carriers. Thanks to their modular design, the machines can be equipped for mowing, mulching and brushing tasks, weed control, leaf blowing, hedge trimming and winter maintenance. Thanks to innovative, robust technology, AllTrec has succeeded in enabling professional users to work emission-free without sacrificing productivity, performance and quality.

In addition, efficiency and cost-effectiveness are much higher compared to machines with combustion engines. Electric drives convert around 80 % of the energy applied into movement, whereas combustion engines only manage around 20 %. Due to the direct power transmission, there is hardly any power loss on the attachments with electric drives. After 24,000 operating hours and around 3,000 charging cycles, the installed batteries still have 70 to 80 percent residual capacity and, with this service life, far outshine adequate combustion engines, which are usually in use for around 6,000 hours. Much lower maintenance and associated personnel costs quickly make up for the slightly higher investment requirement.
